COURSES
DAR
SALAM GOLF COURSE IN RABAT :
It
is one of the 10 finest golf-courses in the
world designed by Cabell Robinson. He
slipped this course in amongst the dunes
which he modelled for the sake of the game
but nature has regained its nightful place:
abundant vegetation line the fairways, a few
water obstacles punctuate the 18 holes. The
splendour of this golf course is the
combination of the very essence of original
golf with obstacles and fairways, a typical
Moroccan environment. Furthermore, the
architect has managed to profit the course
to adapt it to modern golf.
ROYAL
GOLF OF ANFA IN CASABLANCA :
It
is in the ancient city of Anfa, on the hill,
that lies the Royal Golf Club of Anfa, a
hole course 2710 m long, a par 35 several
decades old, twinned with the Mohammedia
course. A course that demands both skill and
imagination and which will please those
visitors to the economic capital who are
amateurs.
ROYAL
GOLF CLUB OF MOHAMMEDIA :
Created
in the twenties, the Royal Golf Club of
Mohammedia is a pioneer club because a whole
generation of national golfers made their
debut here. In the pure Scottish tradition,
this linds (golf course built by the sea)
offers to golf amateurs peaceful, relaxing
environment where pine trees and eucalyptus
abound; the Mohammedia course, 5917 metres
long, has 18 holes; it is par 72 with
relative difficult spots which satisfy the
best golfers.
ROYAL
GOLF CLUB OF MARRAKECH :
Built
in the 20's by the pasha of Marrakech, the
Royal Golf Club is one of the longest
established in Morocco. Constantly renovated
and improved, it is also one of the Majesty
King Hassan II's favourite course. It has 18
holes, par 71 and located at the feet of the
snow-covered Atlas mountains. What a delight
to stride the length of its 6,200 metres
where grow such a profusion of cypress,
eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot
trees.
AMELKIS
GOLF COURSE IN MARRAKECH :
The
most recent of the courses fashioned by the
American architect Cabell N. Robinson. The
Amelkis Golf is an oasis designed in a
spacious valley to play on this par 72
course that stretches over 6657 metres. This
course provides caddies, golf carts, a pro
shop and clubhouse.
PALMERAIE
GOLF COURSE IN MARRAKECH :
This
eighteen hole golf course is located on the
grounds of the Palmeraie Golf Palace hotel
and designed by Robert Trent Jones. It
provides a pro-shop, clubhouse, caddies and
golf carts.
